This company is just so disoriented on so many levels. They are obsessed with hiring, firing, and rehiring cycle. An apt example would be their Marketing team. The last I heard from my sources, last month they mass-fired 4 people from the Marketing team in just 1 day. And that too without a satisfactory reason. But we all know that the whole incident was reeking of dirty politics. Having fired some of these talented people, they were shamelessly looking to replace these people with new hires. Then they faced a difficulty in the rehiring process as the interviewees couldn't hold a candle to these old guys. Now they have some new hires in that team who are barely sufficient. Congrats to them and hope they will SURVIVE there. Honestly speaking, other than surviving, there's no scope for anyone to THRIVE in a company like this). Let's also talk about the higher-ups of the Marketing team. This team has had some people who were promoted to manage it in the past. With their condescending behavior, none of them did a great job so they were demoted very quickly. If the information I received was right, the guy who is currently managing the Marketing team also has the same behavior that his predecessors exhibited. See, the thing with these people is that as long as they are a 'small fry', you won't even know they exist in the company. Promote them to manage a team and they will reveal their true colours - in a noisy and overbearing fashion. How can I mention cons and not talk about the Founder of the company? While it's okay for you to compete with the other players in the market and try to one-up them, it certainly is NOT OKAY to copy your competitors' social media content. Is creativity dead for the Founder and his company?
