Pros

As a company we are scaling quite quickly now which is pretty exciting. A lot of new team members are being brought in and also opportunity for promotions internally as we grow quickly. C level management are very open and transparent around sharing company information

Kontras

External hires coming into management roles has resulted in a little bit of friction with some teething problems when new processes are being introduced but overall I would say this is healthy change and for the better

We have hired specialised expertise and we've also celebrated plenty of internal moves and promotions within our teams, particularly as we grow. If you’re looking for a place where your ideas matter, your teammates have your back, and leadership actually knows your name and your dog’s name, LearnUpon is it. From a sales perspective, this is the dream: ✅ A product people actually want ✅ Clear direction without micromanagement ✅ Leadership that’s transparent, approachable, and doesn’t pretend to know everything (refreshing, right?) ✅ Revenue targets that are ambitious but not soul-crushing The vibe here is “get stuff done and have a laugh doing it.” My calendar has a healthy mix of pipeline reviews and random Slack debates about the best office snack (spoiler: it’s not rice cakes).

Look, no place is perfect. We’re still ironing out a few systems as we scale—like that one tool that requires a full moon and three support tickets to log in—but it’s all part of the growth journey. And no one’s too precious to roll up their sleeves.

Pros

When the clients were sold what they were promised they loved the product. The Support team is awesome.

Too often the sales team would over sell features and products just to get the deal done. Resulting in some pissed off people when they realize they were sold something that either was still a concept or not built out yet. Lots of my clients that had this experience ended up churning. Leadership disconnect is huge at this company. I made a big move after getting approval from my boss only to be told weeks after signing a new lease the move wasnt allowed now. They gutted our team bonuses from implementation and changed it to a CSM-esk meteric instead based on implementation it was then if they renew the next year. You work with them the first few months then they get passed off to the CSMs. They also decided the weekly $10 gift card spin needed to be cut from 10 employees that got a gift card to 5. It's the little things like this, small but its the mindset of removing employee benefits. Yearly raises within the 1% - 2% range
