Pros

It's a great starting place to move forward in your career or to switch internally. I found that if you push yourself and show initiative, hard work can pay off. It also helps when there are a lot of great people around you who want to help. I get to work with a great group of people who enjoy what they are doing and who want to help others along the way. It makes for a more enjoyable working atmosphere. Really appreciate the unlimited vacation and food :)

Sometimes there is a lack of communication and things can fall through if your manager doesn't spread the information around. I find that there is more of a focus on technology and focus drifts off of other parts of the company, which I think leads to discontentment among the different functions/groups of the company.

This review is from 2011. Opportunity cost, you work in New York. Anything can happen there at any time. Well stocked and good variety of snacks. Oatmeal provided for breakfast. The company gave things sometimes like blankets and T-shirts.

Company culture is unconventional. The end of the workweek is Thursday, because the jobs posted that day go live Friday. So everyone celebrates the end of the week on Thursday instead. If you have a long commute you will be forced to make a choice between sleep and connecting with coworkers and colleagues after the day. Permatemps are also treated as second-class citizens, due to a Supreme Court decision. They don't get to participate in company morale events, such as barbecues, picnics,. One time the company hired masseuses to give employees massages. Permatemps did not get to receive a massage. Management will take credit for your work, so document every exchange. Management would rather terminate employees in the case of an HR incident rather than address the problem.
