1. Confused Senior Management; Plans heavy investment in R &D and pulls plug off around the project completion time frame. Repeated failure in business acquisition integration in core products due to bureaucratic/lengthy processes in Old groups/divisions causing havoc in fast-moving smaller acquisition business. Some times heavy investments in some R&D group could go on un-noticed for a long time which yields very less or puny percentage of revenue returns; attitude of these kind of group engineers/management is questionable. 2. Sloppy Board of Directors and CEO & higher management; sleep on innovations in newer evolving technologies; viz storage & network convergence, SSDs etc. Very conservative approach in investing in evolving newer related technologies but does significant investment for it's core products which may cease in future.
