Pros

being a part of LG Electronics is a global brand

Kontras

There are significant communication challenges within the Korean management team, as English proficiency is limited, which affects their ability to clearly explain processes and communicate effectively. Additionally, knowledge gaps were observed across several operational tasks. Despite the audit that occurred in 2025, multiple compliance violations were still evident. Based on on-ground observations, these issues should be classified as a medium risk, considering their frequency and impact. The HR function and formal recruitment requirements are not adequately involved in hiring decisions. Instead, recruitment appears to be driven by internal referrals, resulting in informal groups within the department, which negatively affects governance and fairness. Furthermore, the local agent is managing most sales-related activities, while current LG sales engineers primarily reuse agent-provided data for reporting purposes, rather than independently generating results. Overall, it is unclear why underqualified management and teams continue to operate without corrective measures, given the recurring operational and governance shortcomings observed.

Pros

LG used to be my dream job. 5 years ago, Every good part of LG ended. They preach all day about wellness, work life balance, and investing in their employees. And they used to do just that but not any more. Their 100% paid insurance is literally the only perk and its a trap.

Kontras

They take motivated and competent individuals and shackle them with the workload of 5 or 6 people while telling them they aren't good enough, not doing enough, even though they are somehow finding a way to juggle all of the immense workload. PTO is a joke and no one respects it, they will call and ask you to work on your PTO, on weekends and at 10pm. They have no shame. The compensation is entirely below the bar even with 100% paid insurance. Promotions & Raises? Those only go to Koreans. Its gone so far down hill in the last 5 years. The culture in that office is so toxic but the job market is so restricted that you can't leave.
