Pros

None, only you are an executive or managements favourite pet. The whole system is built around favouritism and ego strokes

Kontras

Do not work at this job here unless if you are willing to stay at the company for years suck up any management and deal with constant power trips and dynamics. The in house barrister for LEAP was currently told to leave her job early and forcefully of due to being told by upper management to come in early hours and do unpaid work; when the lady had reported the matter to HR two executives did everything they could to make her leave as soon as possible. If you report any bullying, discrimination and harassment from toxic managers to HR you are made redundant and they create name title changes to prevent being sued by fair work and call it a “genuine redundancy”. All managers from each vertical are fake to each other and continue to ego stroke each other by gossiping and stealing each others work, not sure why the founder of the company is not doing anything about this.

Pros

- Flexible working arrangements, remote but there is an office if you wish to go in. - Lots of opportunities to work on interesting projects and have visibility. - Kind and genuine exec team. The structure feels flat and everyone is very approachable. - Everyone is responsive, helpful and solutions focused. - Great HR function - we had a company retreat last year, there is a mentorship program.

Kontras

- The US team only has so much control over the product and strategy, since the HQ is in Sydney -Work is relatively fast-paced, but its reasonable compared to most other workplaces.

Pros

LEAP has what use to be a strong product and a huge market presence, especially in the legal-tech space. The work itself can be interesting, and many colleagues across regions are talented, driven, and genuinely want to help clients. The challenges are mostly global culture.

Kontras

There is little consistency across teams, and a lot depends on which manager you end up with. Burnout is extremely common. HR is not willing to address issues, so problems repeat. It’s not an environment where people feel supported, and internal behaviour doesn't reflect the values advertised publicly.
