Pros

High pay, random free gifts, cool office

Kontras

Toxic culture, long hours, unethical business practices, where to begin! Any mistake, no matter how minor, will lead to screaming (literally). Chronically understaffed because of extreme turnover. No matter what you're hired to do you'll end up filling every role from sales to customer support. If you're on a phone call you're expected to take verbatim notes of everything that is said by every participant. Failure to do so will be "punished". Will invoice two clients for the same project and misrepresent the number of developers on a project to bill more hours. Offers a steep discount to leave a five star review on the SFDC AppExchange Don't forget: everything is "Awesome awesome awesome"

Pros

- Great Pay for someone coming out of college - Very fast-paced, meaning there is tons of room to learn and for growth - Everyone at the company is incredibly smart and willing to work hard towards growing the business.

Kontras

- Zero Health Benefits - Minimal PTO - Toxic Work Culture - Unprofessionalism from the CEO. He will literally cuss you out every single day and verbally abuse you. - Unrealistic goals for the company. They talk about wanting to grow to hopefully "20" by the end of the year and this was several years back from today. Today, they still have less than 10 employees. - They only hire young recent grads so that they can be bossed around. If you don't have a strong will and mentality to withstand the verbal harassment, you will get burnt out very soon. - Very high turnover rate. Most employees quit (or get fired) within weeks of beginning. - Micromanagement from the CEO

Pros

Kugamon is a group of incredibly smart and inspiring colleagues—we made such a strong team which I’m so honored to have been a part of. Looking back I realize I was meant to join this company—I’m grateful for the opportunity, learned a lot, and still tremendously respect my previous colleagues still working here.

Kontras

I left because the lessons and overall opportunity came with a cost: my mental health and well being. I experienced a burnout and the second panic attack of my life while working here—I’m obviously not ashamed to admit it as it has shaped me into who I am now. However the constant ‘flight or fight stress mode’ my body was in while trying to make the most of my situation ultimately wore me down until my body burned out about a year in. It has taken 6 months to heal. Advice: ^ This is my truth; there's a lot of potential at Kugamon but be smart and know what you’re getting into.
