Pros

No experience required. Good company if NOT in a sales role.

Kontras

Very strict calls center guidelines. Not able to use your 3 week PTO (that accrues through the year) when needed, done by an automated system based on call volume. Rest of company has unlimited PTO and can take off whenever they want. No raises given don't believe in them, they say just sell more policy's and there is your raise. Always asking to work OT so you can do your follow up work, no time during the day to do it as you have to stay in ready and in adherance or will get written up. Must sell X policys each month or will be put on a plan. Sales are NOT treated fairly. Comp plan changes yearly and with each change it's hard to make what you made the previous year. Softeware is always failing so you can't work but you are required to still hit all yout month goals. If you are out sick your sales are not prorated still have to hit monthly goals or put on a plan. So taking a vacation well won't make money or hit monthly goals put on a plan. So if you love call center work go for it. If you want to be treated fairly have work life balance and make money . . . salary only 35k, 401k only 3%, health insurance NOT great. Call in sick be prepaired to be put on a plan.

Pros

Remote work, decent benefits for some things. If you thrive in high stress/high pressure situations, with constant change & pivoting priorities, this place is for you.

Kontras

Kin having the value “Operate lean; deliver more” should tell you pretty much everything you need to know about working at this company. There is little to no training yet the expectations to produce & perform are very high. Flexible/unlimited PTO is part of the benefits but if you feel like you can’t ever take time off because you’re so busy with work/deadlines, it’s not really a benefit. Not to mention, the time leading up to taking more than a few days off is SO stressful trying to get everything done or ready to be handed off that you question if it’s even worth it. Burnout is a very real thing at this company. They terminate people quite frequently here so you are often in fear of losing your job which adds another level of stress on top of everything else. While they are flexible, the work/life balance is poor. Working evenings & weekends is frequently necessary to meet deadlines.
