Pros
I really like the culture at Key Realty. The broker and manager have a wealth of experience and are always ready to assist when agents have questions or run into some kind of issue. And unlike some larger firms, they are also easily accessible at any time, so you're not left feeling invisible in an office with hundreds of agents competing with each other just to get a minute of their broker's time. That's important. Key is also the leader in real estate education for new licensees and those keeping up with required CE credits, so that's a valuable resource. Last, their transaction management system is the easiest I've worked with.
Kontras
I don't have any real complaints with Key Realty, but since this section is required, I will just point out that Key Realty doesn't have all the same office amenities some of the big brokerages offer. Experienced agents understand this is a trade-off that comes when working with a broker that doesn't charge an arm and a leg in monthly fees. I've worked with large national chain brokerages with beautiful conference rooms, open and closed office spaces for agents, and rows of computers and other office equipment at our disposal. Those things are nice, but you pay for them.
