      - The people! I've made some friends at Key Media who will remain life-long friends and I'm still in touch with former staff who have left. It's a fun, dynamic atmosphere where everyone is friendly and approachable. - Scope of work: like any job, I think you get out of it what you put into it. I've been promoted many times and worked on a range of different projects and products, and those opportunities have come about because I clearly communicate my goals with my managers and put my hand up. - Clear expectations: KM operates to an extremely efficient and organised schedule. As a result I've always found that the expectations of me are really clear, and I know exactly what I need to do to perform well. I also had a lot of autonomy,

      - Key Media have really solid systems and practices in place for hiring and managing newer staff - they live and die by the spreadsheet, which is ideal for setting KPIs and managing a global workforce. But when it comes to managing more senior staff, some of these systems and processes can let them down. A senior employee brings much more to their role than the tasks and functions of their job: we lead other staff, we pitch in for other departments, we problem solve on the fly, we innovate and find new opportunities.

      Pros

      I joined Key Media in June of 2021 and I've had an amazing working experience so far! As someone with a marketing background I was looking for more creative freedom, and that is exactly what I got! Management is very empowering and helps you reach your goals, but gives you the flexibility and creative freedom to work on projects without being micro-managed. Plenty of opportunities for growth within the company as well. HR was very helpful with on-boarding and connecting me with staff I would be working with on a regular basis. Overall I am extremely happy with Key Media and look forward to growing my career here!
