Somewhat flexible work hours. Gave me and many of my colleagues the opportunity to pursue side hustle in the arts.

Pretty typical of a call center. Most of the people, including and especially management, were pretty aimless. The people who were asked to lead received promotions due to there being no better options. Intelligent, high caliber people generally do not want to manage call centers. Caveat, I stopped working there 17 years ago. I doubt the call center even still exists.
