Kindness, understanding, and friendliness is only extended to the clients. In my 6 months at Kandu I had male coworkers come up to me and sincerely ask "what do you even do here" and "we don't sit behind a desk all day like you do", I've had other managers come into my office screaming at me for mild misunderstandings that I had to talk them down from (I had only been there a couple of weeks when these instances happened), and my boss was never there, never had my back, and borderline actively hated me for reasons I can only speculate. She didn't show up to meetings she asked to be a part of, blamed me for things I didn't do, never worked with me on problems I had questions with, and couldn't even be bothered to find me more work even when I actively asked if there was anything I could help with cause I was bored. And the amount of double standards at Kandu are overwhelming. Some people are allowed to WFH for little or no reason but others get talked down to for even asking (even if they have you set up to WFH). My boss got on me for being 2-3 minutes late even though she is almost never on time herself. She would even get mad at me for leaving at the end of my scheduled shift instead of staying late just because I'm salaried even when there was no reason for me to stay late. And God forbid I showed compassion to my employee who was struggling with chronic pain because I was also in the wrong for not writing him up for missing work due to medical reasons. Overall, Kandu ranks as one of my top 3 worst employers along side Amazon and a company that literally asked me to break the law for them. I was ultimately let go with no explanation, but all things considered it was likely simply because my boss didn't like me and the fact that I documented and reported her actions and called her out when she tried to get me in trouble for wanting to adjust my PTO for not being allowed to work in office due to fever. Overall, working here was a huge mistake.
