Pros

Good SAP system. Effective inventory management. Hard working and diligents engineers, good production tracking system. Good workcell concepts that is very customer focus. The concepts of workcell promote and harness good team work where everybody work as an independent business entity for each customers. Promotes healthy culture of excercise, Jabil has one Gym room, two big basket ball field, and four big badminton courts. Overall, Jabil promotes healthy lifestyle where there is a dedicated smoking room with dedicated smoking hours to restraint constant smoking habits. Company provides good training to freshy who just came out from the university. Job rotation opportunities exist.

Kontras

Too political, promotion is based on favoratism and not on performance. Management does not take employees review seriously. Management rarely sat down with employees to discuss about the personal goal, long term career path and yearly targets to achieve. Middle management lack of leadership, and encourage mediocre management skills and promote the wrong people for the right position. There are more managers than any other company I have seen in my long career life. There are more managers than engineers per say where too many captains are trying to drive a ship with too little crew members. Top management are too busy to review the work of middle management.
