The culture at JR is an absolute joke. The office is essentially a dead zone in terms of personality. People could care less about meeting you or getting to know you because the turnover rate is so high. And it is high for good reason. There is zero formal training and you will never have enough work. In the construction services department you might even have work stolen from you; zero camaraderie amongst co workers. Having work stolen off your desk is a result of the micromanagement tool the company uses which involves you submitting a detailed 40 hour work report for what you did during the week. This report is to include hour by hour what you did over the week. Given the fact that you will never have enough work given to you to fill a 40 hour work week this is very difficult.
