Pros
I feel personally secure in my position, was promoted quickly, brand new facility, I truly enjoy working with my co-workers, my direct bosses are wonderful, and have been given great feedback, although informal. The benefits offered here are awesome. There is no out-of-pocket fee for life insurance, numerous voluntary insurances are offered; including a wellness program to reduce medical premiums. All companies have to allow 12 weeks for FMLA, but Riggs allows an extra 4 weeks (case by case scenario) for employees trying to come back to work.
Kontras
I would much rather have formal evaluations with key points and topics for improvement. The upper management seems to make short-sited decisions; from the mouth of long-standing employees, it's only a matter of time before major shifting occurs on the officer level.
