Pay was decent, easy and no over time.

Lacking innovation at my particular division. Lots of old legacy products and almost all engineering is firefighting / maintenance work. No true new product. Does barely enough to squeak by in the market place. Not very much competition in the water heating controls business. Workplace morale is very low. Building is in very poor physical shape, massive layoffs due to poor financial shape. Everyone sits quietly in their cubicle doing their thing waiting for time to drip by and go home. Very poor documentation on legacy products. When the old employees retire, many of the knowledge will die off with them.
