Event shifts are 1.5 pay, however, they are extremely competitive and employees fight for them.

Extremely low wages and no upwards mobility. Ticket prices increased $2 in the new year while VS salaries increased $0.50. Anyone working in this position would have to work 2 hours to afford a single adult ticket to the museum if they didn’t work there. Management is extremely toxic and will gossip about each other and their staff in front of other employees. Very little positive reinforcement but very constant threats. Turnover is extremely high. Absolutely no benefits for part time with no full time positions available.
