Pros
Bonding with employees and the few "social events."
Kontras
San Francisco is home to a plethora of great and mission-based companies. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. The environment here is fear-driven. Fear produces nothing efficient, productive, or creative. The turnover rate is unsurprisingly high within this environment. I saw 3-4 people leave in my first 3 months. You will be successful here if you behave the way they expect you to. Don't expect for new ideas to be remotely tested. Intrax expects their employees to return much more than what they invest in their employees. High expectations and lack of "training." They see employees as dispensable; there is no incentive to stay. On the business side, Intrax could care less about their customers. Customers are just a number; Intrax offers fictitious promising programs. Business model changes as soon as they see a target with a higher amount over the target's head. I can vouch the review below - Intrax has become a Visa mill due to that main reason. The management is top-down like the trickle-down economics theory - it just doesn't work. Whatever the top leader says is what happens. Even the higher level management has no control over what goes on. Pretty sad in my opinion - I know there are managers who could do much better without this heavy weight. No matter how much talent this company brings through the door, top management tends to discourage the slightest of change. Despite how great your boss may be, there is always the top leader of the company who refuses to keep up with modern times and new ideas.
