Pros
-Some of the colleagues are great and friendly, but that’s about it.
Kontras
Toxic Work Environment: From the moment I joined AGA, I quickly realized this was a company where employees are undervalued and overworked. The management fosters a cutthroat and hostile atmosphere where collaboration is discouraged. It’s not uncommon for colleagues to be pitted against each other, which leads to constant stress and anxiety.
Terrible Management: Leadership here is completely out of touch with the employees. There’s a severe lack of communication, and feedback is rarely given unless it’s negative. Managers are more focused on maintaining their own status rather than actually supporting their team, which creates a culture of fear and micromanagement. I’ve never felt so unsupported in my career.
Unrealistic Expectations: The workload is overwhelming, and you're expected to constantly deliver results without any recognition or reward. There’s no work-life balance, and management seems to think working long hours is a sign of dedication. I was consistently expected to work beyond office hours, with no consideration for personal time.
Lack of Career Development: The company offers very little in terms of career growth. There are no clear paths for advancement, and training is practically nonexistent. If you’re hoping to grow within the company, forget it. AGA seems more interested in hiring externally than promoting from within.
No Appreciation: Despite the heavy workload, there’s zero appreciation for the efforts put in by employees. Raises and promotions are almost non-existent, and any form of recognition is minimal at best. Morale is extremely low, and it's hard to feel motivated in such an environment.
HR is Useless: HR seems to be completely out of touch with the actual issues employees face. Any concerns raised are brushed off, and complaints often go unheard. If you’re looking for support or help in resolving conflicts, don’t bother.
