When there's enough hours to go around, it's great. Some of the people are great work with. Gratifying field of work.

Upper Management plays favorites. If you're in their good graces, you're more likely to get preferential hours and respect. Allows for harassment in the workplace while turning a blind eye. Slashed employee benefits like mileage. Cannot guarantee promised hours to their employees, and instead of using their employees they use contractors from competitors to avoid paying overtime.
