Easy to score a senior role as a new IT employee these days. More openings coming soon as the old staff seeks opportunities elsewhere. Some talented people left for now. Decent budget, despite the disputable use.

New CIO. IT projects are very questionable. Functional managers technical recommendations are often disregarded. Operational realities are ignored at best, or totally hindered by arbitrary micro-management. As a result, a lot of the former team left. Department credibility is low.
