Pros
For the most part, the people were nice. The building is absolutely gorgeous. The developers try to use modern programming languages.
Kontras
I’ve worked at large companies (1000+ employees) and small companies (20-50 employees). By far, this is the worst company I’ve ever seen. Where to begin… Religious based racial slurs are tossed around willy-nilly. Extremely poor programming practices (Hardcoding numbers, overuse of language constructs, copy pasting code everywhere, sometimes even entire files, etc) You will be promised a certain salary only to find out you are being paid on an hourly basis. Part of your "salary" is working minimum 5 hours overtime (at time and a half), so if you don't work 5 hours overtime every week, you don't get the "salary" you were promised. You have to punch in/out on a time clock so if you are even 3 minutes late you get "docked". Nobody there seems to understand then difference between an hourly based employee and a salaried employee. You to return the company shirts upon leaving the company. (Very strange) You will be given performance reviews by people who have no idea what it is you actually do there. There is no structure...a meeting there is being asked "Yo, what are you working on?" No clear cut assignments, just off the cuff requests to do something. Cameras in every room (except bathrooms) so you can be constantly watched. Very very strange. You will be repeatedly asked if you want them to install tracking devices in your car. Why? So they can keep track of you at all times. I have literally seen them go online to look at where employees were, even when they weren't scheduled to be in the office that day. Unless you are trying to feed a starving family, or are looking for your first job, avoid this place like the plague.
