Pros
Supportive with progression and nice, friendly people on the whole.
Kontras
I used to feel that, for a big corporate, RSA had a great culture and genuinely cared about its employees. However, in recent years (since they were purchased by Intact, Canada) they have become far colder, cutthroat and say they care about people's views, but their actions don't reflect this. Communication from senior leaders has been terrible recently, insensitive towards members of staff facing redundancy, and casually dropping into Town Halls how they're planning to get everyone back in the office 3 days a week, with absolutely no recognition of the fact that this is a big change and may people have adapted their lives since covid (rule since covid was we come in 1-2x a month for meaningful collaboration). If RSA want to attract and keep the best talent they need to be more forward thinking, not go backwards.
