Pros
I've worked everywhere from a large national company with thousands of employees to a small family-owned business with fewer than 50, to a small non-profit. InsureMyTrip is a smaller company that is well-run and seems to cultivate a strong work culture. The main features of this work culture are that managers are open to suggestions from employees and you have a lot of latitude in how you get tasks and larger projects done. It's a little quirky if you're used to a very rigid hierarchical structure, but it's great if you are self-driven and have a strong understanding of how your role fits into the overall business. Team collaboration across departments is fostered. Very family-friendly company with flexible work scheduling, this company has a true work/life balance. So far everyone I've interacted with is very smart, focused on the job at hand, willing to help and friendly, including the CEO. Benefits are generous especially the 401k contribution which does not require an employee match.
Kontras
If you are not able to adapt quickly to change and or if you have difficulty self-teaching new things you may not fit in well.
