Pros

Full medical paid for employees

Kontras

Low pay on all positions. Treated as second class workers if you are hourly. The salary workers are all from GE. GE owns this company but the hourly workers are not GE workers. If you are a minute late you are given 1/2 an occurrence. Get 7 and they will fire you. These occurrences do not go away for a year. They treat the workers as if they are children. Terrible HR department. They are for the company and not for the worker.

Pros

Paid insurance, all the OT you could want, most co-workers are friendly and easy to get along with, large company that keeps growing instead of downsizing.

Kontras

Much like every company - "favoritism" is very real, bosses don't always know what they're talking about or are uniformed about matters pertaining to your job, management encourages "snitching"

Pros

-Free healthcare for the employee -Starting pay is decent for people without experience -The jobs in assembly are easy to learn and do

Kontras

-A lot of favoritism goes on in this company. Certain employees will have more opportunity to advance or learn new things, and even will be granted overtime over others, based on who they know/are related to. -The machines and equipment are old and dirty, break often, and can make your job a lot harder. -Little to no communication between upper management and hourly employees -Strict Monday-Friday schedule; very little room for scheduling appointments during the week
