      Remote Decent work life balance (depending on client)

      Everything that made this place great has been stripped over the past few years. They pay less than market rate and bill clients 3-4X what they pay employees. PTO was cut by 70% with no increase in pay. New PTO policy is less than industry standard. Constant silent layoffs without any communication. They're offshoring the company so they can pay employees even less. Zero support from managers when dealing with clients. They sell junior devs as senior to clients then have the senior devs put out the fires. They constantly put people on projects that don't know the tech stack. All consultants are now expected to also do sales. Overall this company is going downhill fast and they do not care about their employees.

It does sound like you value the ability to work remote and were able to have flexibility in your schedule.       I can say that i really have a great manager. I'm on contract work, have been for 8 years. Our manager always lets us know how contracts are going. When the renewal talks are happening and when things get signed. You are kept in the loop. Its comforting and supportive. If a contract isn't renewed our manager is already on the hunt for a new opportunity for work. You feel the Heart and commitment to employees. Our work/life balance is great. Opportunities for training and skills are always available. The pay is good. Life is good.

      I think my only con would be better options for insurance, but overall compared to other friends, our insurance is decent.

      Work life balance is okay. Hybrid schedule. Depending on your manager they can work with you. Some really great and caring people. Generous PTO.

      Pay is noncompetitive. The medical benefits are pretty bare minimum. Lastly, the company morale is in the tank overall. Missed several quarterly quotas, new CEO brought in to fix things. Nobody knows where anything is headed
