All functions of sales support are being moved into one task only sub groups- Manila support staff is doubling - sales support had to supply “how tos” on all job functions. Even with this detailed manuals instructions cannot be followed. Read the writing on the wall. It was a great place when I started. . Now it’s becoming too robotic. No one has any autonomy. You have one function now. No one will learn anything and stay stagnant. Wait scratch that- you will “learn”, but it is mandatory training decided/forced for you to take- training modules that typically do not apply to your job. But it looks good to say your support staff does X amount of hours/credits per quarter . Dont even get me started on the puppet mastery of fresh desk. All the trainer keeps saying is “make it like Outlook” Here is an idea- just keep Outlook. Just because some employees cannot manage their time doesn’t means everyone can’t. Find the weeks links and help them not punish everyone. Insights mission statement used to mention building relationships - now it’s going to be “answering tickets”. We are no different than ANY OTHER company.
