Overall, nice colleagues to work with, base salary is decent, WFH and tech equipment provided.

Little to no strategy. As a sales professional who has been in this industry for a decade, this is by far the least professional environment I have ever seen. Also, in full pandemic, it is not a secure workplace. People get hired and fired right after a few weeks, without being allowed to fully understand programs. These folks would care more about quantity rather than quality, and most board members are in their position for a sort of miracle, for sure. Elsewhere, they'd be out in 5 minutes. I have seen many people who have complained about commissions changing every month. Two things people who are considering this workplace should be careful about: (1) don't trust extremely positive reviews, in that they are scripted and written by the management team, they are fake and misleading just like the company per se; (2) when their pseudo-executives respond to reviews complaining about COMMISSIONS, they rephrase and focus on TARGETS changing every month. You, as a potential candidate, should consider the following: it is true that like in any other sales job, targets can change on a monthly basis, that's normal. What is not normal is receiving a Commission Letter (always later than it should, done on purpose, unorganised) that covers a period of 3 months (a quarter, essentially) which is accepted and signed. As the CEO doesn't want to pay out as much (let's define "much", even a retail job would pay higher commissions), besides their contracts with poor gullible clients being worth hundreds of thousand dollars, commission letters are changed on a monthly basis and even with retrospective value (!!!) in order to cap commissions and impede employees to achieve their goals. This, apart from being a very non-transparent practice, is 1000% demotivating, particularly for top performers who consequently start doubting the legitimacy of this company and decide to leave. Not a very clever move, but it seems that this reflects board members' capacities. Also, it is an overrated job where you are hired to be outsourced as a call center operator to book appointments for sales reps working at the client's company, as you will be forced to make 100 calls a day. Please, avoid like the plague. Career growth inexistent.

One of our core values as an organization is honesty which we uphold in all areas. We are continuously growing individually as sales innovators, as are our clients. As client programs grow and change, so may some of the client's expected needs and sales targets. InsideOut makes it a policy to inform our sales teams in advance before any targets change. Unfortunately, sales targets do on occasion go up here at InsideOut, as they do in most sales organizations throughout the world. Your review is very misleading to the public. InsideOut *never* changes a target during or at the end of a month, that never happens, and will never happen. You yourself indicated that targets do change as we work on behalf of our clients, and our clients change direction in regard to the needs of their business objectives from time to time. That being said, InsideOut will never allow a client to dictate our targets during a work month. We will discuss changing needs with our clients and review any necessary changes to targets and issue new commission letters to our team members before the start of the next month or quarter. Your comment regarding InsideOut’s commission payout structure is more than misleading as InsideOut work with our partners, our clients, local industry groups and other company directors to determine a fair and competitive commission structure for our sales representatives. InsideOut has worked very hard to try and keep an upbeat and motivating company over the part year while our staff works remote due to COVID-19 quarantine. This has been difficult on us all. We have done our absolute best and we may have failed in certain areas, but we continue to adapt, improve, and communicate with all team members in town hall Zoom sessions three times a week to ensure we are open, up front, and hearing the needs and concerns of all our staff.
