Pros
Some really smart and nice people work there who are trying their best they can with what they have. Serious antenna testing equipment. It's sort of close to Del Mar which is scenic.
Kontras
Too many managers, not enough doers. Drab, grey work environment full of cubicles. Higher turnover than any place I've ever worked, add to that a recent round of layoffs. Long hours due to managers not being able to make up their minds or sending different messages to people. There is no distinction between urgent and important. Everything is high priority for no known reason. Everyone then becomes too busy to help each other out and must scramble to meet unreasonable deadlines that are often not even necessary. IT infrastructure is severely limited. Email inboxes have a 500 MB size limit. HR tools are behind the times. Way too much time is spent cleaning email inboxes and filling out time sheets. Lack of education. There are no skills training or anything to help people improve at their jobs. Sure, HR bought a set of web videos, but it's just a bunch of videos of speakers promoting their books. They could've just curated that same list of videos. Small bump in optimism with new C-level management, but the enthusiasm is quickly fizzling out.
