Pros

Prior to the sale of Lilien LLC to Sysorex, which later became Inpixon, this company was one f the best places for a tech to work in the entire Bay Area. The owner was a wonderful boss, and management was steady and evenhanded.

Kontras

After the sale, everything went 180 degrees. Upper management made a series of stupid acquisitions, lost focus on what the company strengths were, and muddled the mission of the company to the detriment of every employee. As of this writing, they are behind on payrolls, 401k payments and have stopped paying contractors altogether. What a waste.

Pros

There's no point in discussing this.

Kontras

If you're working for a company recently acquired by Inpixon, I advise you to read the employee agreement carefully. You are likely going to be laid off. In my case, my more than 25 years of employment -- half of my life -- counted for nothing. The severance package they offered was laughable. I can only describe the last year as hell. I believe they were trying to "quietly fire" me, making my life so miserable that I'd resign on my own. I could not make sense of what was happening, and I went to HR on two different occasions. Inpixon seems to stay in business because of its acquisition and then the sale of companies. An insider warned me early on, but the first couple of years seemed to go smoothly, so I ignored this advice. So now I'm warning you. Talk to an employment lawyer before you sign anything.
