Great salary, most people were excellent, small company

Very poor culture of mis-trust and deceit. Company was losing money and their accelerometer product was a rebadged product from China and performed very poorly. Continuous back stabbing at senior management level meant there were constant crises. Pressure to get product to market to pacify the board and shareholders filtered down throughout the company and produced an unpleasant environment. Over the course of 18 months almost all senior managers had left, some roles turned over multiple times. Lack of clear direction and unrealistic goals. Constant interference and crazy ideas from the then owner often caused unnecessary chaos. I could go on.

High salary, company events, exposure to some interesting technical projects and instrumentation work, small teams, opportunities to learn about company production and testing.

No structured onboarding. HR and management style felt overly controlling with excessive monitoring of daily activities instead of constructive guidance. Workplace culture discourages autonomy and creates a stressful environment for employees. Limited communication and unclear expectations.
