1. Poor management: Instead of recognizing employees based on merit. Management plays favorites with those who stroke upper managements ego, especially that of the C-level execs. This happens to an unhealthy extent and causes distrust in management.
2. Upper managements leadership strategy is motivation through chastising sales people. This strategy is recognized by the management, not just saying that.
3. Culture thrives on drama
4. The sales floor can sound like a guys locker room more than professional work environment. Which is fine, but there needs to be some sort of standard.
