Pros
Great staff, interesting position, excellent transferable skills for all future career moves. Back when I worked there (2008-2009) remuneration was higher than it is now, and at the time was definitely highest in the industry. Same for the benefits package, although I understand this has been scaled back.
Kontras
Management often misleading on what to expect in the future - either for the company, the contract you are working on, or your own job security. Obviously this is partially due to the tumultuous nature of the industry right now (post Coalition gov't, plus the recession), but I found the lack of honesty and transparency troubling. When redundancies were made, the process for deciding who stayed was unclear, and staff were not notified in a professional manner (people heard from gossip from other offices before the individuals affected were told). For all of these reasons I would not return to work for the company.
