Pros

You will get a project after waiting for a long time, you can survive with low salary.

Kontras

This is the worst company to work. Not at all flexible to work. No employee co-operation. Recruiter will miss guide you in all the stages which includes your salary and designation. you wont get the correct designation as per your expertise and experience. You dont get any co-operation from your team mates and your project management. Your project manager wont get time to talk to you and understand concerns. Their focus is only on billing and revenue generation. you have sit long long hours to complete the deliverables and for their un planned deliverable commitments with customer. This is the worst place to work. you can forget your personal life. They will attract you sign-on bonus and they will deduct entire amount even though if you fulfill the 90% time with this worst company. They don't consider prorata basis. Infosys don't have any moralities on this. I recommend never ever join and waste your time and energy.

Pros

Job stability – Infosys is known for long-term employment and steady projects. Strong brand value – Having Infosys on your resume adds credibility and global recognition. Good learning opportunities – Access to internal learning platforms, certifications, and training programs (especially for freshers). Global exposure – Opportunities to work with international clients and global delivery teams. Structured processes – Well-defined policies, documentation, and governance. Work-life balance (project dependent) – Many teams offer reasonable working hours. Employee benefits – Health insurance, paid leaves, and wellness initiatives. Safe and inclusive workplace – Strong focus on ethics, compliance, and diversity.

Kontras

Salary growth can be slow – Compensation increments may be lower compared to market standards. Limited flexibility in role changes – Internal mobility and project switches can take time. Bureaucratic processes – Decision-making can be slow due to multiple approval layers. Project allocation delays – Bench time and delayed onboarding to projects can happen. Variable learning exposure – Skill growth depends heavily on the project assigned. Less innovation in some teams – Certain projects may use legacy technologies. Onsite opportunities are limited – Compared to earlier years, onsite roles are fewer. Performance appraisal transparency – Rating systems may feel rigid or unclear.
