Pros
As consultancy firm, Infosys Lodestone offers competitive compensation and good benefits (private healthcare, travel insurance, pension etc). They encourage entrepreneurial spirit, a go getter attitude and a roll your sleeves up and do it yourself. This is not common in the industry where processes are often quite rigid. Other notable pros include: -minimal micro management -scope for progression -diversity of employee base
Kontras
The client base is hit and miss, a few very large and interesting projects. More often though the projects are completely unnoticeable in the industry, heavily technical and IT based. Little advice or consultancy is provided. Mostly system implementations. The company's day to day organisation is shambolic. There is no real head office, HR, Finance and all back offices functions are under resourced having a direct negative impact on employees. Integration with Infosys (the mother company) causes constant logistical nightmares. Senior management is uninspiring, demotivated and under qualified as people managers (although experts in their field). There is almost no training offered and the company has no interest in making its employee grow, creating a brand image or sense of community Very negative atmosphere, high turnover and only tepid attempts to address issues.
