Pros

Set schedule (varies from person to person), Decent Pay for "tier 1" especially considering most of them have no idea how to use a computer let alone fix one, or write a proper sentence that makes sense. They offer free "food" (really cheap stuff, but it is better than nothing, although it is mostly designed to keep you at your desk working as you don't get a specified lunch break...you're expected to eat while on calls or in between calls)

Upper Management sucks, It is a call-center environment, employees are lied to and misled, turn-over rate is high because of those things, management doesn't even bat an eye when someone just walks out. Customers are lied to and because of that can get very agitated. They're a dishonest company who uses scare tactics and lies to bait in unsuspecting customers, especially the elderly who are easily taken advantage of. The majority of the company is sales people who don't know how to fix computers, but lie through their teeth to get a sale. The actual techs are overloaded, and machines often end up worse after they have been worked on than before. They implement company wide changes without informing their employees before they do it.

One, upper management has a job to do and management a lot of employees. These rules are not in place to irritate employees, but to give these employees the best possible chance and thriving in our environment. Yes, this is a call center environment. This is sated within the job application and all new employees get a tour of our building before they choose to work here. This should not be a surprise nor a con. We are an honest company that fixes thousands of computers each month. We work at providing a great work environment that our employees can thrive in. It is up to the employee to take the ball and run with it. We wish you the best in your future in devours

The money you can make at ICE is equal to if not better than the money you would make at a job you have to go to college for; and it could be done with little to no sales experience. ICE is definitely a place you can get comfortable at. The phones are ALWAYS ringing so you don't have to worry about leads. It is a very professional environment and you can see the company works hard and efficiently at making things better for both the customer and the employee. Management treats everyone with respect and provide all the help they can give to make you a better rep. The owners always have a smile on their face and are happy to greet passing employees when they're out of their office. The interview process is very thorough and clear as to what you're going to be getting into and the potential income you can make are actually realistic numbers. The training period covers everything and anything you could ever encounter on the phones so it makes it easy for you to close more deals right off the bag. The benefits are definitely a plus and you can't beat the lunch...it's free food!. Growth from within is probably my favorite thing next to the pay checks, the majority of management has at one point been on the phones before moving up. From friendly staff to hefty pay checks this place knows what they're doing. I'm here to stay.
