Pros
The salary at InGenesis is probably the biggest pro to working here. They tend to pay employee's more only because you then become a slave. Slaves to their phone, to their laptop and to the building. The President and CEO would rather increase your salary by a few grand than provide additional PTO time. Many of the employees are hard workers. You build a comraderee with these individuals so that you can have others to cry and complain to daily.
Kontras
PTO Time- Time accrues at a snail's pace. Paid Time Off at this company mimics that of a sewing factory in the 1980's. Employees with high level degrees and responsibility are only given 10 PTO days per year which accrue at approximately 6 hours a month. It takes a full 6 months to have five days of vacation (Don't get sick or have a family emergency.) Time doesn't increase for five years. If you are not a worker horse, you will get fired quickly. Those who have been there more than five years to even reach that PTO time, are family members of the management team. Health Insurance- Forget it. The self-professed fastest growing staffing company North America cannot provide health insurance for their employees. They claim the company provides a contribution towards the premium, but it is very secretive. For a single person, you can pay $500 month for a $7,500 deductible and no prescription coverage. Don't worry, you have no time to take off if sick anyway. Training/Professional Development- The CEO mentioned in an article how she promotes education to her employees, particularly since she just obtained her doctorate. This company does not even offer paid training, professional development let alone tuition reimbursement. Employees are not encouraged to seek out learning opportunities. There are no internal professional development opportunities available at this company. Training for employee's happens by sitting and observing what current employees do. Evaluations/Growth- Employees do not have evaluations and there is no process for this to occur. Human Resources have a new "regime" yearly so processes always change and there is no development for current employees. Workforce- Employees do not get to know each other. Before you know it, someone is gone without a word. There is constant turnover. People basically disappear in the middle of the night never to be heard from again. Employee Culture- There is none. Most companies a story behind their culture. This company has none. Without a strong culture, people have no direction and learned value to why they are there and the expectations the company has for them. Most people are just hired from fast food sales and plopped into recruiting roles. You would not obtain any information on culture or the company from the website. It's horrible. There is no consistency in staff, policies or processes.
