Most coworkers are very nice, modern office, private roof deck for lunch breaks in the summer. Most days end at 6:00 sharp. Day to day is a pleasant place to work as long as you aren't worried about progressing or earning more money while you're employed there.

Expect to feel micromanaged by folks who don't know who you are: absolutely no work from home flexibility despite all WFH infrastructure being set up, the whole office is required to go kosher once a year regardless of one's personal religion, yet requests to work remotely in order to travel on religious holidays (i.e. Christmas Eve) are swiftly declined office-wide. All employee appreciation has been revoked (bonuses, holiday parties, frequent lunches used to be the norm - haven't seen those in years). Internal growth is extremely rare. Raises are declined for those who are keeping the place afloat. Covid-19 brought the culture of Inmocean to light in a clear way: almost a month after Cuomo stated that people must stay off of public transportation unless absolutely essential, we were all still riding the empty trains to work. All employees were required to report to the office through late March 2020 after all schools, restaurants, and bars had been closed by law for weeks. After ~90 days of WFH, management brought everyone back into the office in June. Employees who had shown concern about returning to work were told that they should not be asking for extended WFH flexibility. We should not have had to risk our lives to work in-office while every other workplace was taking the pandemic seriously. We had every resource to work from home successfully and safely, but without any explanation or justification, were forced to return to the office the moment it was legally permitted as part of Phase 1.
