I honestly cannot think of any cons.

Non managerial staff are very passionate and knowledgeable about their job.

Leadership disregards employee input on organizational decisions, even if those employees are the ones directly impacted. Lack of transparency in how decisions are made overall. Any feedback given to leadership in general is met with defensiveness and gaslighting. Disparities in pay and unclear on how people are promoted or classified. Promotions and the speed at which they happen are determined by favoritism. High turnover with people being let go with short notice. They replace people with part time staff so they can save money even though the work necessitates a full time schedule. Programs are pitted against each other by leadership and made to seem more important or deserving or impactful than others.
