Pros
- Work with some seriously cutting edge tech (still spreading across teams, but its getting there)
- If you can deliver good code often, you are usually left to solve problems as you see fit
- Trying to evangelize the tech community more through writing and open source
- Benefits are reasonable (yes, they dropped the infinite sick time, but you got an extra week of PTO. This is what happens when employees abuse unlimited sick time, yeah it was bad)
- Just bumped parental leave to 2 weeks, maternity leave was also increased but I dont remember what to
Kontras
- We like to spend a lot of time navel-gazing about process and procedure
- Interesting transition time as we move to the OKR model
- Sometimes business urgencies aren't translated to employees effectively
- We aren't super comfortable with shipping often and the minor churn that can happen with it
