the pay wasn't too bad, CEO sent out regular emails which was nice

Where to begin? Insurance was AWFUL, vacation pay/holiday pay is a joke, management is a joke (mine was anyway), no communication from upper management nor do they seem to care. They'd come to the site just to say they were there, sit in conference rooms for an hour and do other work, then leave. Never felt as if my manager listened to me or cared what I had to say. Concerns were brushed under the table and never addressed. Manager called/emailed at all hours of day (7 days a week) for no good reason and would ask my opinion and then do the opposite. I could not get away from this company quick enough!

Pros

This is the only company I have ever worked at where I felt seen and supported, not just with words but actions.

Pros

Excellent facility to work at, beautiful suburban campus. This just happened to be the case; IST had no control over that feature.

I was warmly welcomed aboard though I had little direct experience. The company and I both considered myself overeducated and overqualified. for the job, but I was winding down a long career and looking for something uncomplicated. I was promised direct supervisor training weekly, but received almost none. Company leadership seemed distracted, and feedback eventually included veiled threats of dismissal without clear explanation. No proactive leadership per se. The customer was very cold from day 1 and obviously did not want me on the job. Very little company support for me or my team, only disciplinary measures.
