I have been working for IPL as a credit representative. as a part time employee , you do not get a lot of hours, and they want to control when you can and cannot come to work. They do not care about developing their employees and they make really poor hiring decisions. I see a lot of new faces come and go and they do not take time to develop their employees. They do not like to promote within and in most cases they hire external people for positions outside of the union. There are a lot of qualified people in the call center and I feel that they simple do not like to promote within. They only have a few minorities in management (mostly hired within the past year or so) and I truly believe that they did it so it wasn't so obvious. Please do not waste your time applying here. Customer Service is a dead end.
