Communication is poor, change management is appalling, and the organisational culture promotes siloed working and toxic, hierarchical micromanagement, fostering deceitful practices and frantic budget-oriented behaviour. Rampant politics, largely driven by inadequate middle management, overshadow crucial matters like ethics, sustainability, and wellbeing, with mere lip service provided.
