Pros

~ Steady work most of the time. ~ Lower management tries to work with the associates to solve problems before upper management knows about it ~ After 1st shift leaves it is a better environment ~ If you need a filler job until something better comes along it's a pay check

Kontras

~ Upper management is stuck in the 80's, brand new warehouse with out newer or current technology.. ~ Cannot understand that human error happens ~ expects 100% accuracy out of everyone 24/7 ~ expects supervisors to do write up for a single mistake with a 1000 pc pick ~ Batteries leak on all the electric lifts ~ Thousands of Dollars of OSHA hits waiting to happen ~ Expects supervisor to fire associates when they were not properly trained

Pros

Absolutely nothing good to say about my experiences there!!!!

Kontras

Senior management lack the skills or leadership abilities; no floor presence or day-to-day management at all...the inmates run the asylum there and so much labor is wasted! When you try to improve procedures or question why things are done a certain and inefficient way, you're told "that's the way we've always done it" and then you're treated differently or ignored altogether. The small group of people in Sr. Management have worked there a long time, and thrive on their knowledge (I use this term loosely) power. They would be janitors at a world class competing company, because they only know what they've been doing and cannot evolve. Sr. Management aren't open to change from outsiders, and provide no site specific training or support. They stifle new and experienced leaders, despite the higher level of skill and professionalism new people may bring. They can't see or cannot admit their problems are rooted in Sr. Management, not the employees beneath them. "Fire anyone with half a brain, so we don't look stupid!" Seemed like they are threatened by having anyone with true world class organization experiences, or real leaders in their midst. Once they realized someone is a stronger leader or more intelligent than them, they began to bully, ostracize and lie until it's unbearable.
