Peers in the function were great. Parts of the company that are sheltered from the broader cultural pressures are trying to drive innovation. Nice office. Very good at marketing, slick slide ware and selling the “people first” narrative.
Kontras
Long hours and deadline culture. Highly strung corporate environment, undercurrents of politics and selfish management. Lack of strategy, having a tribes model does not equal agile, there’s a long way to go. “Do as I say, not as I do” approach espoused by management. High dependency on contractors and external third party vendors that largely deliver questionable value. Low morale and disillusioned staff, especially those working on the ground. Rate cuts, take it or leave it.
