Pros
As an agent, work was very simplistic and hard to mess up. Pay was okay. Work from home.
Kontras
I felt like I had more support as an agent, once I got promoted to Sup and my program manager resigned, we got a new one that was very discouraging. He would tell us we needed to "grow up, shut up, and do our jobs" but would give us no clear direction on what we were doing wrong. Some of the other supervisors created a very toxic environment and it was very cliquey. You were either in or out. The program manager would make a "big deal" about bullying/cliqueness for levels below sups, but if it were sup-to-sup bullying he didn't care and would tell us we need to be the adults we are supposed to be. Sups are salaried employees. One month I put in hours WELL over my salary and when I asked if I could have a day off I was told no. I had put in my 2 weeks due to the toxic environment but retracted it due to not wanting to make an emotionally based decision. My boss told me that all I needed was a vacation and agreed it would be best to wait until after my vacation to make the decision. While on my vacation, I received an email stating my request for position change was accepted. I'm sure you can imagine my confusion when I had retracted my 2 week notice and was led to believe everything was fine. When I confronted my sup about this, my questions were ignored and phone calls dodged. When I received my separation notice I was listed as not eligible for re-hire for being "a bad fit for the company." I was NEVER given any kind of disciplinary action and had exceptional QA scores as an agent, great attendance, and was overall a really good sup. There was never anything brought to my attention that I was doing wrong. I had to email on 2 separate days requesting a return label so I could return the company equipment and the 2nd time I had to CC HR onto the email to have one sent to me. Very disappointed with the way things ended up turning out and will never recommend working for this company. Very shady/toxic behavior in upper management that no one should be a part of.
