Pros
Flexible work schedule, young environment, ability to work remote. The job teaches you time management and organizational skills, as well as gives you the opportunity to work with lots of different types of people on the candidate and client side. Good company to work for as a contractor.
Kontras
If you're an internal employee, watch out. they do not value their employees if you're not making the company money, and there is no initiative from management to want to help change that. C-level executives do not care about the concerns employees have. It's great if you're hitting your activity metrics, but if you haven't placed anyone in a job, chances are your job won't last. I've seen them get rid of some EXCELLENT recruiters all because of things the recruiters had no control over, but the executives could have changed. And if they don't want you working there, you can count on getting terminated for reasons not explained to you or laid off with a severance. C-level executives will get rid of an employee before taking the time to understand employee concerns or issues. Every new employee has the same problems with making placements. The environment is extremely cut throat, and you can count on your candidates never getting submitted if you aren't best friends with the Business Development managers. Ranked a "Best Place to Work" in the Washington News Journal, but that is just another lie they like to tell people to make you want to work with them. It's unfortunate because I am still an employee here, and I hate it.
