Pros
The kids are the only enjoyable part of the job
Kontras
If you want to work somewhere where you’ll learn the ins and outs of ABA, grow as a behavioral therapist, be appreciated and feel comfortable and enjoy/love your job, then this place is NOT for you! What you’ll really be getting is brushed off when you have questions, bullied if you have suggestions, gossiped about by supervisors, the owner, etc. to coworkers, other supervisors and the clients parents whether you’re still at the company or not. You’ll be thrown under the bus for things completely out of your control. You’ll hear higher ups complaining about/ gossiping about the kids. There’s absolutely no support and the second you walk through the door, you’re being set up to fail. You can’t even speak to someone in confidence because your conversation will spread like wildfire through a text to other supervisors. The supervisor cares more about being on her phone, going out to lunch for 2-3 hours, or leaving early to go get a tan or whatever it is she does. Need a question answered? You’ll be lucky if you ever hear back. Have an emergency? Close your eyes, spin around three times and whoever you grab will probably be more help than the supervisor because she’s never around anyway and neither is the bcba. Toys are broken to pieces, books are ripped and kids are bored out of their minds with nothing to play with and the people who could do something about it don’t and they don’t seem to care anyway. There’s no structure in this place. It’s not worth the stress. Any positive reviews on this place are definitely written by probably a manager. Do yourself a favor and go literally ANYWHERE ELSE because this place is an absolute disaster/nightmare/whatever. You pick. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. And then I’d double it.
