Pros
The people and the company mission are 2 key benefits for me. Everyone is aligned on the mission and the personalities at Hello Alice make it a challenging but fun place to work. In my role I get to work with a lot of people. I also get a lot of autonomy to decide how work will get done. I also extend that autonomy to my team so they can decide how our product will be built. Another cool aspect of the job is that it's still a fairly young company. We're outside of the start up phase, but still early enough that a lot of key decisions are still being made and I am excited to be a part of helping to build that out.
Kontras
It is fast paced which can also leave rooms for mistakes or the need to pivot. Luckily embracing failure is a part of the company culture. This fast pace is not for those who like a ton of definition and structure. We do have to move quickly and make a lot of decisions fast.
