Pros
Very few, I would say the only pro is that they don't have a proper hiring mechanism.
Kontras
Hector Kitchen was extremely disappointing. The company suffers from a lack of professional leadership and operational structure. Decision-making often felt chaotic, and there was little evidence of a clear long-term strategy. Management frequently appeared disconnected from day-to-day realities, which created confusion and inefficiency across teams.
Salary payments were unreliable, with repeated delays — sometimes extending up to two weeks. This created unnecessary stress and showed a lack of respect for employees’ financial stability. Trust in the company eroded quickly because of this.
There is also a serious lack of technical infrastructure. For a company operating in a data-driven space, the absence of proper tech and data science investment is alarming. Teams are under-resourced, and critical systems rely on too few people, which makes the organization fragile and unsustainable.
Customer-facing decisions often felt rushed and poorly thought out, prioritizing short-term sales over product quality and long-term brand trust.
Overall, the environment felt unprofessional, unstable, and poorly managed. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking a structured workplace or reliable career growth.
